​Through performance, the West Shore Marching Band strives to improve young people by fostering cooperation and a mindset of growth, hard work, and passion.

Band Football Game Checklist:

• Please wear your "under uniform".  This consists of your WSMB white tshirt (or just a plain white Tshirt), navy blue shorts (not cargos), black crew type socks, and Dinkles (marching shoes).
• Tie back long hair or place in a high ponytail to fit under your Apollo (marching hat).
• Instrument and extra reeds/valve oil/instrument supplies
• Uniform Gloves, lyre, and flip book
• Bring some money for food (about $10). The band will get a break during 3rd quarter. You may also want to eat a light dinner before you come to the game.
• Water Bottles are recommended as well

Band Competition Checklist:

• Instrument and extra reeds/valve oil/instrument supplies

• Water Bottle
• Packed lunch and/or dinner as necessary.
• Snack (not messy) for the bus if it's a long trip and money for food if there is time after competing.
• Travel pillow/blanket if it's a long trip and late at night-such as Nationals!
