​Through performance, the West Shore Marching Band strives to improve young people by fostering cooperation and a mindset of growth, hard work, and passion.

Are YOU Marching Band material?

If you ARE ready, then navigate to the "Members Only" Tab and fill out the forms.

Band Football Game Checklist:

• Please wear your "under uniform".  This consists of your WSMB white tshirt (or just a plain white Tshirt), navy blue shorts (not cargos), black crew type socks, and Dinkles (marching shoes).
• Tie back long hair or place in a high ponytail to fit under your Shako (marching hat).
• Instrument and extra reeds/valve oil/instrument supplies
• Uniform Gloves, lyre, and flip book
• Bring some money for food (about $10). The band will get a break during 3rd quarter. You may also want to eat a light dinner before you come to the game.
• Water Bottles are recommended as well

Band Competition Checklist:

• Please wear your "under uniform".  This consists of your WSMB white tshirt, navy blue shorts (not cargos), black crew type socks, and Dinkles (marching shoes).
• Tie back long hair or place in a high ponytail to fit under your Shako (marching hat).
• Instrument and extra reeds/valve oil/instrument supplies
• Uniform Gloves, lyre, and flip book
• Water Bottle
• Packed lunch and/or dinner as necessary.
• Snack (not messy) for the bus if it's a long trip and money for food if there is time after competing.
• Travel pillow/blanket if it's a long trip and late at night-such as Nationals!
