West Shore Minis
- Sponsored by the West Shore Music Boosters
- established Winter of 2022/23
- one of a kind program comprised of kindergarten through 7th graders
- created to expose younger students in our district to colorguard and the marching arts much earlier then before
- builds a consistent basics program and foundation for a strong future
- creates relationship between current members/staff and the future of the program
- shorter productions that are performed in non competitive situations to get students open to the idea of performing
- Sponsored by the West Shore Music Boosters
- established Winter of 2025/26
- feeder program comprised of 5th through 7th graders
- a competitive opportunity for intermediate and middle school students to help bridge the gap between our mini and varsity program
- builds a consistent basics program and foundation for a strong future
- creates relationship between current members/staff and the future of the program
- less elaborate productions that are performed in fewer, local competitive situations to get students open to the idea of performing
- we reuse previously used uniforms and equipment to keep costs down and reimagine previous materials.
- Sponsored by the West Shore School District & Music Boosters
- comprised of 8th graders through seniors
- perform and compete on a local and national level
- continues to rehearse basics program and elevates it to gain strength and endurance
- put together a longer, bigger and more theatrical program
- competes in indoor, as well, seperate from the marching band
- opportunities to travel with the music department (competitive and non competitive activities)
- more vigorous schedule
