One of our favorite opportunities to provide for our musicians is the ability to travel to perform in new places. Unfortunately, our plans for 2020 were sidetracked due to the ongoing pandemic. We are very excited to announce that we are now able to continue with our plan to perform at Disney World. Pending board approval at the April board meeting, interested students and families of the department will travel to Orlando, FL next spring (April 27th-May 1st 2023).
Cedar Cliff and Red Land students in the following performing groups are eligible to attend: Concert Band, Concert Choir, Orchestra, Chorale,Treble Choir, Chamber Singers, Wind Ensemble, and Marching Band (including next year's 8th graders)
Red Land and Cedar Cliff ensemble directors will be hosting a parent and student informational meeting on Monday, April 25th at 6:30pm in the Red Land High School auditorium. Please plan to attend as we will be going over all the information and logistics of the trip. If you are not able to come to the meeting, please reach out to your child’s ensemble director for more information.
