As part of our commitment to providing exceptional performance experiences, we’re reaching out to our community for some additional support.
The band members gave another outstanding performance on Friday night! However, there are some technical aspects of the show that are outside of the students’ control and have been plaguing us for the past year or longer. There have been some underlying sound issues dating back to last year‘s Nationals performance at MetLife Stadium and then reoccurring at WGI world championships and the last two Friday nights.
This has led the boosters and directors to the decision that we need to purchase a new mixer and cart which cost approximately $10,000. The mixer controls the volume levels of the front ensemble, solos, audio clips and speaker volume. While the boosters have been fortunate enough funds to cover the bill for this unbudgeted expense, we are asking the community for support.
